ANLS:
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library to apply for long-term loan funds under the State of Wisconsin TEACH Wiring Loan Program. The purpose of the program is to pay for data cabling and some electrical wiring upgrades needed to implement or expand student and public access to computers and the Internet in schools and public libraries.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the State of Wisconsin TEACH Wiring Loan Program for data cabling and some electrical wiring upgrades needed to implement or expand student and public access to computers and the Internet in schools and public libraries; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the State of Wisconsin TEACH Wiring Loan Program is authorized.
