Analysis

This ordinance provides that the chief information officer shall establish and maintain an information security program to reduce risks and protect information systems from internal and external threats.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 310-4-2-n of the code is created to read:

 

310-4. Chief Information Officer.

2. FUNCTIONS.

n. Establish and maintain an information security program, including procedures, processes, and training designed to reduce risks and protect enterprise information systems, assets, and communications from internal and external threats.
