Title

Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Body

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following position on the bill hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matter; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to oppose such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:

 

AB-395/SB-303                                          Relating to: participation in a riot and providing a criminal penalty.

 

 

AB-396/SB-304                                          Relating to: blocking a thoroughfare as part of a riot and providing a criminal penalty.

 

 

AB-397/SB-305                                          Relating to: going armed with a firearm while participating in a riot and providing a criminal penalty.
