Body

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, approved the 2004 CDBG funding award for the Boys & Girls Club - Pieper Club in the amount of $57,605; and

Whereas, This site location was acquired by Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee for the expansion of redevelopment in the area; and

Whereas, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee has agreed to distribute the 2004 CDBG funding for the Pieper Club as follows: 75% to the Hillside Club ($43,204) and 25% to the Fitzsimonds Club ($14,401); and

Whereas, The Community Development Committee recommends approval to distribute the Pieper Club funding in the amount of $57,605 to the Hillside and Fitzsimonds Clubs in the manner listed above; now therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the distribution of the 2004 CDBG Pieper Club funding.
