Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to issue an excavation permit on pavement less than three years old in the 800 block of West Armour Avenue for the purpose of installing, at no cost to the city, an oily wastewater pretreatment system. (Department of Public Works)
ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to issue an excavation permit on pavement that is less than three years old.
BODY:
Whereas, TEI Corporation has been hired by Gardetto's Bakery, Inc., located at 4625 South 6th Street to install an oily wastewater pretreatment system in response to notice of violation for oil and grease by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District; and
Whereas, An open cut method of installation is required in West Armour Avenue; and
Whereas, This open cut will affect pavement less than three years old and subject to a pavement guarantee; and
Whereas, TEI Corporation desires to install this system prior to the expiration of the pavement guarantee date; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue an excavation permit to allow the installation of the oily wastewater pretreatment system in the guaranteed pavement in West Armour Avenue; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the pavement restoration of the affected street shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and restrictions established by the Department of Public Works of the City of Milwaukee and at no cost to the City.
