This resolution authorizes modifications to the contract to be used by the Community Development Grants Administration for 2025 community development activity and authorizes the execution of subcontracts and contracts by City departments and agencies receiving Block Grant funding in 2025.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council has previously approved funding recommendations for the City’s 2025 Block Grant program in Common Council File Numbers 241065 and 241066 (2025 CDGA Funding Resolutions); and
Whereas, As set forth in Common Council File Number 74-92-5v, the Common Council may make certain modifications to the form of contract(s) to be used by the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) in the implementation of the Block Grant program for 2025, authorize the execution of contracts and subcontracts by such City departments, and authorize an Interdepartmental Cooperation Agreement to be executed by CDGA and each City department which received Federal Grant funding in 2025; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the form of contract for use in implementation of the 2025 Block Grant program by City departments and agencies receiving Block Grant funds, in the form on file with the Common Council as set forth in the 2025 CDGA Funding Resolutions (Interdepartmental Cooperation Agreement) is approved, subject to such revisions and modifications as may be required from time to time by the City Attorney; and, be it
