Whereas, The plaintiff Wisconsin Bell, Inc., d/b/a SBC-Ameritech, sustained damages during a construction project on September 9, 2002; and
Whereas, The settlement is deemed expeditious in this matter; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $7,500.00, payable to the order of SBC Communications, Inc., in full and final payment of the plaintiff's claims against the City of Milwaukee, upon receipt of a Release, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Fund Account No. 636505, Fund 0001, Org. 1490, )Program 2631, Sub class S118.
