Title

Resolution to remove a No Vehicular Ingress or Egress Restriction from a portion of West Walnut Street (south side) between North 22^nd Street and North 23^rd Street extended, in the 17^th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee.

Analysis

This resolution will remove the No Vehicular Ingress or Egress Restriction and provide the property owner with legal access onto West Walnut Street.

Body

Whereas, A No Vehicular Ingress or Egress Restriction was placed on the property by Midtown Meadows, a subdivision of record, adopted by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on July 16, 1980; and

Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee is working with a buyer for the property located at 1634 North 23^rd Street.  The buyer is requesting permission to install a driveway to West Walnut Street.  The removal of this No Vehicular Ingress or Egress Restriction would allow improvement of the land; and

Whereas, Upon reviewing the No Vehicular Access Restriction, the Department of Public Works has no objection to releasing said access restriction; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the No Vehicular Ingress or Egress Restriction to West Walnut Street from Lot 11 of Midtown Meadows, a recorded subdivision, in the Southwest ¼ of Section 19, Township 7 North, Range 22 East be rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby directed to have a certified copy of this resolution recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County.
