This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to install traffic control signals at the intersection of E. Buffalo Street and N. Water Street.
BODY:
Whereas, This intersection has been identified as having limited gaps for pedestrian crossings during peak traffic periods and with the continued development of the area, the Historic Third Ward Association has requested the installation of a traffic signal; and
Whereas, The total estimated cost of this installation is $40,000 which is being provided by funds from the Department of City Development; now, therfore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and hereby is authorized and directed to install traffic control signals at the intersection of E. Buffalo Street and N. Water Street with funding as indicated:
