This substitute resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute three Release of Sewer Easement documents.




BODY:
Whereas, On February 23, 1901, the City of Milwaukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE-462, located in the vacated East/West alley in the block bounded by West Michigan Street, North Plankinton Avenue, West Wisconsin Avenue and the Milwaukee River; and

Whereas, On April 30, 1901, the City of Milwaukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE-463, located in aforesaid east/west alley;and

Whereas, On February 28, 1901, the City of Milwaukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE-466, located in aforesaid east/west alley; and

Whereas, The sewer and fire pipe in this alley for which the abovementioned sewer easements were written have since been abandoned; and

Whereas, With the sewer and fire pipe abandoned, Sewer Easements SE-462, SE-463 and SE-466 are no longer required to protect the interests of the City; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Sewer Easement Releases SER-462, SER-463 and SER-466, copies of which are attached to this Common Council File No. 990086 and are incorporated in this substitute resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said Sewer Easement Releases have been executed by the proper City officers, they shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to execution and then to the office of City Real Estate...
