Analysis:

This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for the Healthy Homes Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.   The grant will assess the level of environmental allergens in the homes of children with severe asthma.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to assess the level of environmental allergens in the homes of children with severe asthma; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is authorized.
