She added that there has been accidents over the years at their front yard. Jane - 3025 N Farwell - said that it is very difficult to turn left from Lynwood to Maryland; that she has witnessed many car accidents and wants a safe street for drivers and pedestrians. Individuals also present: Ald. Brostoff said that this is a major improvement and that there are others that will be done as well. Ald. Brostoff moved approval. There were no objections. (Prevailed 5-0) 6th Aldermanic District E. North Ave. — N. Bremen St. to N. Booth St. (ST211230141) Install concrete traffic calming speed table. Ms. Rutenbeck said that 17 properties were surveyed with 3 in favor and 1 opposed but that Ald. Coggs supports the project. Ald. Stamper moved approval. There were no objections. Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

3rd Aldermanic District

N. Maryland Ave. at E. Linnwood Ave. (ST211230149) Install traffic calming traffic circle. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $5,035; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $15,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.

E. North Ave. - N. Bremen St. to N. Booth St. (ST211230141) File Number 230423: Install concrete traffic calming speed table. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund - $7,600; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $30,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.
