ANLS:
This resolution amends Common Council File 961649 relative to a Wisconsin Nonpoint Source Water Pollution Abatement Program Grant Award/Nonpoint Grant. The purpose of the grant is to reduce the amount of pollution in stormwater runoff.
BODY:
Whereas, Common Council File 961649 authorized the Department of Public Works Forestry Division to apply for, accept and fund a Wisconsin Nonpoint Source Water Pollution Abatement Program Grant Award/Nonpoint Grant from the Department of Natural Resources for the purpose of reducing the amount of pollution in stormwater runoff. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $10,000 and a City share total of $4,285; and
Whereas, The local funding source of $4,285 in Common Council File 961649 was determined to be replaceable by the Planting Trees, Shrubs, etc. Forestry Capital Account, 31-758-0011, now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to encumber in the parent accounts of the 1997 Capital-Grant and Aid Projects, the following amounts for the project/program titled Wisconsin Nonpoint Source Water Pollution Abatement Program Grant Award/Nonpoint Grant:
