This agreement extends the indemnification agreement entered into between the City and the Annuity & Pension Board up through December 31, 1999.
BODY:
Whereas, On June 30, 1992, the City of Milwaukee and the Annuity & Pension Board entered into an indemnification agreement. This indemnification agreement expired by its terms on March 26, 1997. The agreement was extended to December 26, 1997, June 26, 1998, September 26, 1998 and December 31, 1998. The parties are interested in extending the agreement to December 31, 1999 in order to have time to consider a new agreement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the amendment to the indemnification agreement by and between the City of Milwaukee and the Annuity & Pension Board of the Employes' Retirement System, a copy of which is annexed to the file, by and hereby is approved and the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
