Analysis
This substitute resolution extends the indemnification agreement entered into between the City and the Annuity & Pension Board for ninety (90) days up through December 26, 1997.

BODY:
Whereas, On June 30, 1992, the City of Milwaukee and the Annuity & Pension Board entered into an indemnification agreement. This indemnification agreement expired by its terms on March 26, 1997. The Agreement was extended to June 26, 1997 and again to September 26, 1997. The parties are interested in extending the agreement for ninety (90) days to December 26, 1997 in order to have time to consider a new agreement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the amendment to the indemnification agreement by and between the City of Milwaukee and the Annuity & Pension Board of the Employes' Retirement System, a copy of which is annexed to the file, be and hereby is approved and the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
