Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations.
ANLS:
-Analysis-
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 35th St. - 395 ft. m/l south of W. Glendale Ave. to 270 ft. m/l north of W. Glendale Ave. (859-0673-1): Relaying sanitary sewer.
4th Aldermanic District
E./W. Wisconsin Ave. - N. Water St. to N. 4th St. (842-0073-2): Reconstructing the intersection. Placing an asphalt overlay on the existing pavement. Laying a concrete curb and gutter. Laying a concrete sidewalk.
6th Aldermanic District
N. Booth St. - E. Clarke St. to E. Center St. (859-0635-4): Relaying combined sewer.
W. Somers St. (VAC) - 100 ft. m/l west of N. 9th St. to N-S Freeway (859-0678-9): Relaying combined sewer.
E. Townsend St. - N. Buffum St. to N. Holton St. (859-0578-5): Relaying combined sewer.
7th Aldermanic District
N. 49th St. - W. Clarke St. to W. Center St. (859-0680-X): Relaying combined sewer.
9th Aldermanic District
W. Woolworth Ave. at N. 52nd St. (Ext'd) (859-0679-4): Relaying storm sewer.
15th Aldermanic District
W. Brown Deer Rd. (S/S) - N. 115th St. (Ext'd) to 350 ft. m/l west of N. 115th St. (821-4691-5): Relaying water main.

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof.
