Title
Substitute resolution to ratify and confirm the final agreements between the City of Milwaukee and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District #10, AFL-CIO.
Analysis
The purpose of this resolution is to confer Common Council approval, ratification and confirmation on memoranda of understandings between the City of Milwaukee negotiating team and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local #510, District No. 10, AFL-CIO covering wages, hours and conditions of employment for the time periods commencing January 1, 2003, through December 31, 2003, and January 1 2004, through December 31, 2006.

Whereas, The total agreements between the city negotiating team and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local #510, District No. 10, AFL-CIO for the periods commencing January 1, 2003, through December 31, 2003, and January 1 2004, through December 31, 2006, have been reduced to writing; and
Whereas, The memoranda of understandings embodying the agreements reached by the parties to such negotiations, copies of which are attached to Common Council File No. 021159 and incorporated herein as though fully set forth at length, were executed subject to ratification by the Common Council; and
Whereas, The union membership has ratified the memoranda of understandings a copy of a letter to that effect is attached to Common Council File No. 021159 and incorporated herein as though fully set forth at length; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the agreements between the city negotiating team and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local #510, District No. 10, AFL-CIO be approved; and, be it
