Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to lease said land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, Clear Channel Outdoor, Inc. has offered to lease a portion of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“Authority”) property at 708 West Garfield Avenue to relocate an existing billboard from 2233 North 7th Street to facilitate development of the Bronzeville project; and
Whereas, On December 14, 2006, the Authority held a Public Hearing on the proposed lease as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed lease; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated December 14, 2006, with respect to the proposed lease of the following portion of property is approved.
