Analysis

Pursuant to the terms of recently-completed labor negotiations, this ordinance increases the base monthly mileage reimbursement received by employes represented by the Staff Nurses' Council from the current $35 to $40.  This change is effective January 1, 2002.

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Section 350-183-7-a-2 of the code is amended to read:

 

350-183.  Private Transportation Reimbursement.

 

7.  RATE SCHEDULE.

 

a-2.  Public Health Nurse Mileage Rates.  Effective [[February 1, 1998]] >>January 1, 2002<<, an employe represented by the Staff Nurses' Council who is required to have a private automobile for use on city business shall receive a base amount of $[[35[[ >>40<< per month.  The city shall reimburse such employe at the rate of $.20 per mile for monthly miles driven between one and 200 miles, and $.31 per mile for monthly miles driven in excess of 200 miles per month.
