This resolution transfers title of a City-owned strip of land.
BODY:
Whereas, Common Council File No. 980190, adopted on May 27, 1998, vacated a street right-of-way which is no longer needed for street purposes; and
Whereas, The adjoining owners, Robert and Helen Kussrow, with their property located at 4277 South 1st Place, paid a fee of $132 for an infrastructure benefit assessment in order to vacate this excess street right-of-way; and
Whereas, Mr. and Mrs. Kussrow will combine this strip of land with their existing property; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the excess street right-of-way adjacent to 4277 South 1st Place is declared surplus; and, be it
Further Resolved, That this strip of land be sold to the adjoining property owner located at 4277 South 1st Place in consideration of the $132 application fee already paid for the vacation process; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said transfer of street right-of-way; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the transfer of said street right-of-way.
