Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design and construction of North 76th Street from West Grantosa Drive to West Florist Avenue with State and Federal aid under the State Highway Rehabilitation Program.
Body
Whereas, A project agreement has been executed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee for the improvement of North 76th Street from West Grantosa Drive to West Florist Avenue using State and Federal Aid under the State Highway Rehabilitation Program, in accordance with the Common Council Resolution File Number 080153, adopted June 10, 2008; and
Whereas, As part of the preliminary engineering process, project construction costs have been updated and project scope has been added to include replacement of the bridge over West Silver Spring drive; and
Whereas, A revised project agreement including the updated construction costs has been received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and
Whereas, The aforementioned construction funds for the project will be set-up in a separate, future resolution; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the Revised Project Agreement for the improvement of North 76th Street from West Grantosa Drive to West Florist Avenue with updated construction costs; and, be it
