Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute
an Easement Agreement
BODY:
Whereas, On May 3, 1966, the City of Milwaukee was granted a
combined sewer and water easement, WE220 and SE 1760, located in
vacated West Scott Street from South 1st Street to South 2nd Street; and
 
Whereas, The easement is located in land presently owned by Allen
Bradley Company, LLC (the owner); and
 
Whereas, The owner has requested the City's permission to construct steel
pipe bollards and a decorative fence consisting of brick piers and wrought
iron in the easement area; and
 
Whereas, The City will allow the construction of said bollards and fence
in the easement area, subject to conditions stipulated in an Easement
agreement WA22OA and SA176OA; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute
Easement Agreement WA22OA and SA176OA, two copies of said
agreement being attached to and part of this file; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That after said Easement Agreement has been executed
by the owner and the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the
Office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then
to the Office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
