Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following position on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby opposes the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to oppose this bill and use its best endeavors to have them not enacted into law, viz:
 
AB-183      Miscellaneous provisions related to rental and vehicle towing practices and
      eviction proceedings, prohibitions on enacting ordinances that place certain limitations or requirements on landlords, providing an exemption from emergency rule procedures, granting rule-making authority.
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bill and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
 
AB-159/      Penalties for certain traffic offenses committed while sanitation workers are
   SB-145      at risk from traffic and providing a penalty.
 
AB-180      Penalties and testing for operating-while-intoxicated offenses and providing a penalty.
