Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on November 28, 2000 and December 15, 2000 approved the 2001 consolidated community development entitlement funding from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA funds; and

Whereas, The amended 2001 award, per notification from HUD, of CDBG entitlement is $23,063,000, HOME entitlement is $9,436,000, ESG entitlement is $783,000 and HOPWA entitlement is $442,000; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Community Development Committee on February 21, 2001, approved the reduction in funding entitlement in the amount of $54,500 be taken from the CDBG Contingency account for approved activities for 2001 funding year as per the details in Attachment A.
