Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for the Lead Outreach Grant Project from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The purpose of the project is to implement intensive and coordinated education, screening and housing advocacy in the Lead Program's target area.  

BODY:

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the  U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to implement intensive and coordinated education, screening and housing advocacy in the Lead Program's target area; now, therefore, be it     

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is authorized.
