ANLS:
-Analysis- This resolution would approve Extension of Lease Agreement with Jacobus Petroleum Products Company for the final five (5) year period commencing January 1, 1998 through December 31, 2002, for the property at 1726 S. Harbor Drive, South Harbor Tract, City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, The Board of Harbor Commissioners has approved Extension of Lease Agreement with Petroleum Products Company for the purpose of operating and maintaining storage tanks, heating and pumping equipment in connection with receipt, preparation, processing, handling and/or shipping of liquid and other cargo and carrying on those activities related to the fabrication of materials, servicing, supplying and repairing of vessels and other services related to waterfront activities; and
Whereas, The term of Lease is the final five (5) year period commencing on 1 January 1998 and terminating on 21 December 2002; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the Extension of Lease Agreement between the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners and Jacobus Petroleum Products Company; and be it,
Further Resolved, That the designated officers of City Government and of said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose as prepared by the City Attorney's office.
