This resolution will permit the addition of two, pre-fabricated outdoor smoking areas for staff. Shelter No. 1 is to be located at the East End of the current physician's parking lot off of North 25th Street. Shelter No. 2 is to be located West of the existing main entry, facing Southeast towards Villard Avenue. Each shelter will be a maximum of 115 square feet.
BODY:
Whereas, Section 295-814(5) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variation to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and
Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as St. Michael's Hospital was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on July 28, 1992, under File No. 911730; and
Whereas, The developer proposes to erect two smoking shelters for staff; and
Whereas, The proposed use is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plan and will not adversely affect surrounding development; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the minor modification to the approved plan permitting the erection of two smoking shelters is approved.
