Analysis
This resolution approves each Third Amendment to the Private Ambulance Service Provider Agreements executed by the City of Milwaukee with Bell Ambulance, Inc., and Curtis-Universal, Inc.
Body
Whereas, The Milwaukee Fire Department entered into Private Ambulance Service Provider Agreements for emergency medical services with Bell Ambulance, Inc., and Curtis-Universal, Inc., on December 19, 2017; and
Whereas, The parties desire to amend the 2017 Provider Agreements while they negotiate new agreements; and
Whereas, Amendments to the 2017 Provider Agreements are in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City of Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Third Amendment to each Private Ambulance Service Provider Agreement for emergency medical services between the City of Milwaukee and Bell Ambulance, Inc. and Curtis-Universal, Inc. is approved in a form substantially similar to the agreement attached to this file; and be it
Further Resolved that the Fire Chief is authorized to execute such agreements.
