Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Redevelopment Authority to convey land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, Fond du Lac Center, LLC has offered to purchase the assembled site at the northeast corner of West Fond du Lac Avenue - West Center Street in the North 27th Street - West Center Street Redevelopment Project Boundary for development of a building with ground-floor retail space and affordable rental housing units that will be financed in part through federal housing tax credits; and
Whereas, On December 15, 2005, the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee held a Public Hearing on the proposed sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Redevelopment Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition Report dated December 15, 2005, with respect to the proposed sale of the following properties is approved.
