Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1999 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 980575 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Urban Development Section," delete one position of "Neighborhood Economic Development Coordinator" and substitute, in lieu thereof, one position of "Neighborhood Development Specialist (X)."
Under "Health Department, Public Health Services Decision Unit, Pregnancy Prevention Consortium (CDC) Grant (FF)," delete one position of "Director/Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (X)", and add one position of "Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Manager(X)"; under "Bureau of Laboratories Decision Unit, Community Recreational Water Quality Assessment Water Grant (P)," delete one position of "Microbiologist II (.25 FTE)" and add one position of "Microbiologist Project Assistant (.25 FTE)" and under "Public Health Services Decision Unit, Special Programs", amend footnote "(HH)" to read: "(HH) To expire 12/31/99 unless the Hepatitis B Immunization Grant is extended. .1 FTE Health Interpreter Aide funded by O&M."
Under "Department of Public Works-Water Works, Plants Decision Unit, Linnwood Maintenance," delete three positions of "Water Buildings and Grounds Laborer" and two positions of "Water Laborer Crew Leader," and add five positions of "Water Plant Laborer"; and under "Auxiliary Positions," delete nine positions of "Water Department Laborer" and add nine positions of "Water Plant Laborer."
