Substitute resolution amending Common Council File Number 211069 relating to acceptance and funding of the 2021 - 2024 Immunizations Cooperative Agreement Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

 

Analysis

This substitute resolution amends Common Council File Number 211069 accepting and funding the 2021 - 2024 Immunizations Cooperative Agreement Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The purpose of the grant is to provide COVID-19 vaccine in an accessible, culturally relevant manner to underserved and/or under vaccinated communities.

 

Body

Whereas, Common Council File Number 211069 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the 2021 - 2024 Immunizations Cooperative Agreement Grant grant for the purpose of providing COVID-19 vaccinations; and

 

Whereas, this grant provided for a grantor share total of $772,500, and a City share total of $0; and

 

Whereas, the Grantor share for this program is increased by $225,000, and the in-kind City share is increased by $0, and total cost is increased by $225,000; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81-5c; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:

 

1.  Amend the budgeted funds within the Project/Grant parent account of the 2021 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project titled 2021 Immunization Cooperative Agreement Grant:
