This ordinance requires the economic development committee to approve all expenditures of economic development committee funds. This ordinance supercedes a committee guideline, adopted by the economic development committee on February 23, 1994, which authorized the chairperson of the committee to unilaterally approve expenditures of up to $3,000 from economic development committee funds.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 301-11 of the code is created to read:
301-11. Expenditure of Economic Development Committee Funds. All expenditures of common council economic development committee funds shall be approved by the economic development committee.
