- Analysis - This ordinance increases the number of members of the equal rights commission who must be present at meetings to constitute a quorum or for conducting business. This change is consistent with ordinance file number 990606, enacted July 29, 1999, that increased the number of members on the equal rights commission from 5 to 7.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 109-15-3 of the code is amended to read:
109-15. Equal Rights Commission.
3. [[Three]] >>Four<< members shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of conducting business, and [[3]] >>4<< votes shall be required to pass any commission decision.
