Whereas, Common Council of the City of Milwaukee awarded $50,000 in reprogramming dollars Common Council File Number 030179 to S.W.E.E.P., Inc. a Community Justice Center activity; and
Whereas, The Community Block Grant Administration (CBGA) was notified by S.W.E.E.P., Inc. that they were returning the funding as stated in Attachment A; and
Whereas, CBGA recommends awarding the $50,000 for the Community Justice Center funding to The True Our Brothers Keepers, Inc. to carryout this activity; and
Whereas, The Community Development Committee recommends approval to award the $50,000 to The True Our Brothers Keepers, Inc. for Community Justice Center activities; now therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the award to The True Our Brothers Keepers, Inc.; and, be it
Further Resolved, That CBGA is responsible for awarding a subrecipient contract for the approved activties; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Block Grant Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it
Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Block Grant Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it
