Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

8th Aldermanic District

S. 27th St. – W. Oklahoma Ave. to W. Lincoln Ave. (WT410011093): Water main alteration. Valve replacement. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $5,000)

13th Aldermanic District

W. Green Ave. – S. Marilyn St. to S. Melinda St. (WT410011098): Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $5,000)

Various Aldermanic Districts

City Wide (SM495010512): Sewer exams as requested for combined, sanitary and storm sewers. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $95,000)

City Wide (SM495010513): Sewer structure construction and rehabilitation. Manhole and catch basin rehabilitation. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $60,000)

Various Locations (WT410011305): Inspection and testing of water main materials. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $40,000)

Various Suburban Locations

Various suburban locations (WT410016400): Design, review and inspection of water main installations. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $40,000)

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
