This substitute motion approves the recommendation of the Utilities and Licenses Committee for the renewal, with a warning letter, of the licensed dwelling facility (rooming house) to Penny Bigalke for the premises at 3217 W. Wells St.
Body
Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee held a hearing on May 31, 2005 relative to the renewal of the licensed dwelling facility license of Penny Bigalke for the premises at 3217 W. Wells St.; and
 
Whereas, After hearing testimony presented at the committee hearing, the committee found that the evidence did not support non-renewal of the license, but did support the issuance of a warning letter; and
 
Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee approved the renewal of the license on May 31, 2005, voting unanimously (4 ayes, 0 noes), to recommend renewal of said license, along with the issuance of a warning letter; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Neighborhood Services is authorized and directed to grant the licensed dwelling facility license to Penny Bigalke for the premises at 3217 W. Wells St.
