Analysis
This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to execute Release of Water and Sewer Easements WE369R and Partial Release of Water Easement WE173B.
Body
Whereas, On November 21, 1973 the City of Milwaukee was granted water and sewer easement WE369 and SE2077 located in Vacated East Pleasant Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River, being a portion of Tax Key Number 392-1818-112, by Beatrice Foods Co.; and

Whereas, On August 11, 1971, the State of Wisconsin was granted a sewer easement in Block F, Hathaway’s Subdivision near the intersection of Vacated East Pleasant Street and North Water Street, being a portion of Tax Key Number 392-1818-112, by Beatrice Foods Co., said easement was later conveyed to the City of Milwaukee by Quit Claim Deed; and

Whereas, On December 6, 1963 the City of Milwaukee was granted water easement WE173 located at the Milwaukee County Zoo in South 100th Street extended from 1380’ S/O West Blue Mound Road to West Blue Mound Road, being a portion of Tax Key Number 410-0001-111-6, by Milwaukee County; and

Whereas, The water mains and sewers that were constructed in these easement areas have been abandoned; and

Whereas, These easement areas are no longer required for future water or sewer purposes and do not serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to execute the documents for Release of Water and Sewer Easements WE369R and SE2077 and Partial Release of Water Easement WE173B, copies of which are attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement releases have been executed by the proper City Officers, they shall be forwarded to the Department of Publ...
