Title
Substitute resolution relating to an amendment to the indemnification agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the Employes' Retirement System.
Analysis
This substitute resolution extends the indemnification agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the Employes' Retirement System through December 31, 2005.
Body
Whereas, The City and the Employes' Retirement System entered into an indemnification agreement for a term of five years dated June 30, 1992, and such indemnification agreement has been extended and supplemented by mutual agreement of the parties to extend through December 31, 2003; and
Whereas, The Employes' Retirement System has proposed to extend the agreement as extended and supplemented through December 31, 2005; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the amendment to the indemnification agreement annexed to the file be and hereby is approved and the proper city officers be and hereby are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the city.
