This resolution is in response to a Common Council directive which requires the Commissioner of Public Works to determine any accruing benefits as a result of a vacation. The Commissioner, having reviewed the vacation, sets forth the recommended benefits and damages.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, on September 23, 1998, adopted File Number 980258 directing the Commissioner of Public Works to assess the benefits and damages in the vacation of a 1-foot wide portion of S. 26th St. (W/S) from W. Morgan Ave. south to the alley located in the 13th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee; and
 
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works is required by law to assess any benefits or damages accruing or arising from said vacation; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works has determined that assessment benefits and damages in the amount of $21.29 arise from said vacation and are hereby confirmed.
