Analysis

This ordinance requires that filling stations licensed pursuant to s. 84-45 shall receive full payment in advance for any quantity of gasoline or diesel fuel sold at anytime.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 110-34 of the code is created to read:

110-34.       Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Payment In Advance.  All filling stations licensed pursuant to s. 84-45 shall require full payment in advance for any quantity of gasoline or diesel fuel sold at any time.  The establishment and its representative shall receive payment in full prior to activating the gasoline or diesel fuel pumping device.  Payment includes by any legal means: cash, credit card, debit card, check or otherwise.
