This resolution appropriates $9,000 from the 1997 Common Council Contingent Fund for AT & T translation line services, to supplement the amount provided ($5,000) for this service in the City Clerk Office's 1997 budget.
BODY:
Whereas, $5,000 was provided for in the City Clerk Office's 1997 budget to pay for AT & T translation line services which may be utilized by all city departments; and
Whereas, Experience so far in 1997 includes that total 1997 expenditures for translation line services, primarily used for police and fire emergency services, and the Municipal Court, will be approximately $14,000; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $9,000 is appropriated from the 1997 Common Council Contingent Fund to the Translation and Interpretation Special Fund Account (#01-131-0-8007) to pay for AT & T translation line services.
