Title

Substitute resolution relative to the 2006 Capital Improvements Program to provide funds for traffic sign and signal work at various locations.

Analysis

This resolution provides funds for traffic control alterations at various locations in response to changes in traffic patterns and paving projects, and authorizes 2006 fund transfers for the general purposes indicated.

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to modify and/or install traffic control signs and signals at various locations; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the Comptroller's Office is authorized and directed to transfer from the Traffic Control Facilities budget, Account Number ST220060000, up to $700,000 to the general purpose sub-accounts indicated as follows:

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer funds as required without further Common Council authorization, the total amount of such transfer shall not exceed the amount authorized in the 2006 Traffic Control Facilities budget.
