This resolution amends File Number 79-1342 et al to update the rental rates and types of equipment for privately owned trucks, endloaders, and other equipment rented to the City of Milwaukee .
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the city of Milwaukee adopted File Number 79-1342 on November 13, 1979; File Number 79-1342-a on March 23, 1982; and File Number 79-1342-b on March 15, 1985; all relating to rental rates for privately owned trucks rented to the City; and
Whereas, File Number 79-1342 indicates that such equipment rentals may be adjusted for market condition, or otherwise adjusted each year on or about October 15, based on any change in the Consumer Price Index; and
Whereas, Some equipment provisions have changed over the years, and it is desirable that the formula for adjusting rental rates be updated; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that File Number 79-1342, as amended, is hereby further amended to change the equipment provisions and rates as follows:
"Trucks - Plowing and Hauling
Equipment Description Maximum Rate
1. Single Axle Truck Plowing - $75.00 per hour Hauling - $35.00 per hour
2. Tandem Axle Truck Plowing - $75.00 per hour Hauling - $35.00 per hour
3. Tri Axle Truck Plowing - $75.00 per hour Hauling - $40.00 per hour
4. Quad Axle Truck Plowing - $75.00 per hour Hauling - $40.00 per hour
5. Semi Trailer Hauling - $52.00 per hour
Rubber-Tired Endloader
Equipment Description Maximum Rate
1. 2 to 3 Cubic Yard Bucket $ 90.00 per hour
2. 3 to 5 Cubic Yard Bucket $105.00 per hour
3. Over 5 Cubic Yard Bucket $135.00 per hour."
