Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) to include updated design and construction costs for the North Hawley Road Viaduct over CP Rail System Underpass and Ramp with 80% Federal and State aid under the Local Bridge Replacement Program. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds and establish project/grant chartfield values for the increased preliminary engineering costs for this project. The total revised estimated construction cost for the project is $3,750,000 of which the City's share is $750,000. The revised estimated design cost is $900,000, of which the City's share is $180,000.

Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 950846, adopted on October 17, 1995, authorized and directed the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Project Agreement with WISDOT for the programming and rehabilitation for the North Hawley Road Viaduct over CP Rail System Underpass and Ramp with 80% Federal and State aid under the Local Bridge Replacement Program; and
