Title
Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various assessable public improvements at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to determine any benefits or damages which would result if the projects were to be constructed. After the Commissioner files his report, a Public Hearing will be held on those projects determined assessable. A resolution will be submitted after the Public Hearing authorizing construction.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described work according to City specifications, and that such public improvements and resulting special assessments be made pursuant to Section 66.60 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances:

1st Aldermanic District

W. Eggert Pl. - N. 46th St. to N. 50th St. (ST211060130): Paving the roadway with asphalt. Laying a concrete curb and gutter. Laying concrete sidewalk. Doing all the necessary grading pertaining to said work. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $12,000, additional engineering funds) File Number 040689 authorized $7,500, total estimated engineering is $19,500.

N. 27th St. - W. Villard Ave. to a point north of W. Silver Spring Dr. (ST211060102): Paving the roadway with asphalt. Laying a concrete curb and gutter. Laying concrete sidewalk. Doing all the necessary grading pertaining to said work. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $8,000 additional engineering funds) File Number 040689 authorized $18,000 total estimated engineering is $26,000.
