This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works for improvements on which the benefited property owner has waived his right to a public hearing. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.


BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted a preliminary resolution determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

E. Irving Pl. - N. Prospect Ave. to N. Cambridge Ave. ST21190213 (879-0853-2) File Number 970750: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace all curb and gutter, replace sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $65; Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $490) (SUFFICIENT FUNDS TRANSFERRED BY RESOLUTION FILE NUMBER 981178, ADOPTED DECEMBER 18, 1998)

in the 13th Aldermanic District of the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The report of the Commissioner of Public Works has been filed with the City Clerk; and

Whereas, Waiver of notice and hearing of the abutting property owner at 1621 E. Irving Pl. has been filed; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the report of the Commissioner of Public Works be approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That said Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work in accordance with said report pursuant to Section 66.60 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and...
