It will encourage employee engagement and communication and it is hoped that suggestions about day-to-day operations could improve effectiveness, increase productivity and improve resident satisfaction.

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) consistently strives to employ strategic methods to support the mission of the organization. The EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION POLICY is designed to give support and confidence to employees of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) process improvement or program service delivery suggestions offered in the course of employment result in measurable positive and productive outcomes in support of HACM’s vision and mission.

 

WHEREAS, HACM recognizes the value of the knowledge of our employees as they are the subject matter experts in their areas of expertise;

 

WHEREAS, HACM recognizes the value of suggestions from its front-line employees;

 

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the HACM EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION POLICY is hereby approved; and be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director authorize the appropriate staff to take all action necessary to begin implementation of the HACM EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION POLICY
