This resolution authorizes the conveyance of City-owned vacant lots for use in the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority's Homeownership Program.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted File No. 970458, on July 11, 1997, which approved entering into a Cooperation Agreement between the City of Milwaukee, the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation, the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to develop new in-fill housing in the City of Milwaukee; and
 
Whereas, It has been determined that the following City-owned vacant lots are suitable for this type of development and are declared surplus to the City's needs:

2636 North 15th Street
 
2640-46 North 15th Street
 
; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to convey the subject surplus, City-owned vacant lots to the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority's Homeownership Program; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That all terms and conditions stated in Common Council File No. 970458 and in the Cooperation Agreement remain in full force and effect.
