Analysis
This resolution will dedicate City-owned lands for public alley purposes and widen the north-south alley to 20 feet in the block bounded by West Bolivar Avenue, West Plainfield Avenue, South 2nd Street and South 3rd Street
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has title to certain 1.00-foot wide parcels of land located on either side of an 18-foot wide public alley in the block bounded by West Bolivar Avenue, West Plainfield Avenue, South 2nd Street and South 3rd Street; and

Whereas, The improvement of the alley is scheduled on the 2003 paving program; and,

Whereas, The dedication of City-owned properties which lie between the existing public alley and the abutting properties, will allow the property owners direct access to the improved alley; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following described City-owned lands hereby are set aside and dedicated for public alley purposes:

Parcel 1: The west 1.00-foot of Lot 16, in Block 5 of Assessment Subdivision Number 89, a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast ¼ of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 22 East.

Parcel 2: The east 1.00-foot of Lot 16, which lies between the south line of Lot 16 and the south line of Lot 14, in Block 5 of Assessment Subdivision Number 89, a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast ¼ of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 22 East.

Parcel 3: The east 1.00-foot of the west 10.00 feet of Lot 14 in Block 5 of Assessment Subdivision Number 89, a recorded subdivision, in the Northeast ¼ of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 22 East; and...
