Analysis
This resolution reverses the July 14, 2003, decision of the Historic Preservation Commission denying a certificate of appropriateness for the installation of skylights on a building at 3230 West McKinley Boulevard in the Cold Spring Park Historic District.  This resolution would, in effect, grant the certificate of appropriateness.

Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission, on July 14, 2003, rejected this request after a public hearing, citing the inappropriateness of skylights in this area; and

Whereas, The owners of this property, pursuant to s. 308-81-9-f of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, are entitled to appeal the decision of the Historic Preservation Commission to the Common Council, and the owners have filed a request for a hearing of their appeal in a timely manner; now, therefore, be it
